यूसीडीएफ शक्तिफार्म सितारगंज में 100 करोड़ की लागत से हाईटेक प्लांट लगाएगा। प्लांट में मिल्क पाउडर, आइसक्रीम, मिनरल वाटर और ब्रेकरी उत्पाद बनाए जाएंगे। यूसीडीएफ शक्तिफार्म सितारगंज में 100 करोड़ की लागत से हाईटेक प्लांट लगाएगा। प्लांट में मिल्क पाउडर, आइसक्रीम, मिनरल वाटर और ब्रेकरी उत्पाद बनाए जाएंगे। इन उत्पादों को आंचल नाम से बाजार में उतारा जाएगा। प्लांट के लिए सरकार से 2.5 हेक्टेयर जमीन मिल चुकी है। प्लांट को पीपीपी मोड पर बनाने की योजना है। राज्य में अत्यधिक दूध का उपार्जन होने पर यूसीडीएफ दुग्ध संघों के माध्यम से दूध का पाउडर के रूप में कनवर्जन कराता है। यूसीडीएफ को यह कनवर्जन अभी दूसरे राज्यों में कराना पड़ता है। इसमें लागत भी अधिक आती है। इसे देखते हुए यूसीडीएफ ने सरकार को प्लांट लगाने का प्रस्ताव भेजा था। शासन ने इस प्रस्ताव को मानते हुए शक्तिफार्म में इसके लिए 2.5 हेक्टेयर जमीन दे दी है। यूसीडीएफ के एमडी जयदीप अरोरा ने बताया कि 100 करोड़ से प्लांट लगाया जाएगा। इसके लिए नाबार्ड से लोन लिया जाएगा। इसमें आइसक्रीम, दूध पाउडर, ब्रेकरी उत्पाद, मिनरल वाटर तैयार किया जाएगा।
